Shame
I was given free tickets to go watch a FIFA match (whooppeee! we all like free stuff!) so there I was, sitting and watching these guys play.
When the game ended, the champion players from Japan walked right up to the audience and started waving. It was only then that I started noticing how cute they were and then I went OH HOLY COW THEY'RE GIRLS.
Shame.

Oprah is on time
Here I am, just another day over at a friend's chilling with Oprah and having complimentary chips from the host.
I was at a birthday party.
I came to learn that there's such a thing as "Islander time" - where "stated time of event" and "actual time of event" will contradict by a good three hours or so.

Flat
I was squatting with a few Kiwis (not the bird, I meant the people) and found this bottle round the back of their house. I have to admit, being a clean freak, I was playing the usual "Gosh man these people should learn how to drink AND pick up after themselves" script in my head until I stopped to notice what the kids these days were drinking.
I really do appreciate their humour. Thanks ex-flatties. THANKS.

Wrinkly
Okay so I'm feeling old and wise (and undoubtedly wrinkly came to my mind). I think its about that time in life where I feel that I've achieved a significant amount of experience to differentiate between stupidity, ignorance and utter foolishness.
I think its about that time where I am able to purely kick myself in the ass (pardon my language) for being idiotic at my age. I should be lucky I guess. Some people don't get this feeling until they're 40 and having a mid-life crisis.

Muffin mania
I had a craze for Farmbake cookies during my first year of university. In my second year, it was chocolates in general - NOT GOOD. Muffins joined the craze list in my third year of university and lasted for a good two years (ie into my Honours year). So guess what dbf forced bribed suggested my friend hand to me on a very special day?

Good girl
Its quite sad to say that I never really got around to much drinking in the land of tui and draught. These two bottles are the only things I have to show for my (lack) of alcohol days.
I miss Feijoa Vodka deeply...(The Cruzan Mango rum was apparently to my dislike).
